- We only sell top quality Cast Perspex acrylic. This is not to be confused with other websites selling cheaper extruded (XT acrylic). Why do we only sell cast acrylic? Cast is far easier to work with than extruded - easier to cut, drill, scrape, file etc.
- Perspex acrylic comes with a full 10 year UV warranty. This means that it is fully weather resistant - it will not go "milky white" or craze in direct sunlight for at least 10 years. We have heard of cheap far eastern imported acrylic going cloudy in just a few weeks in direct sunlight!!
- 2mm clear acrylic being light weight (2.4kgs approx per m2), coupled with the 10 year UV guarantee, is perfect for DIY secondary double glazing, shed, summerhouse, greenhouse and playhouse glazing, picture framing etc.
